Black, Blown, and Beautiful! |
In Ertl "Best of the Best" series, as an open market issue. This is to be a Medium Green Metallic, black interior, a white rear stripe & dog dish hub caps.Although the 1969 Dodge Charger was an extremly pretty design, it was an aerodynamic disaster. Dodge wanted to run the Charger in NASCAR, but the recessed grill and sunk in back window were causing serious aerodynamic problems. There solution was the 1969 Dodge Charger 500. |

Here is "Kowalksi's"
1970 Dodge Challenger R/T in all of its 390-horsepower glory. This
was no trumped-up show car gussied up for the lights and cameras,
but was delivered tot he set completely "stock". Not to
worry -- as the leading man and film crew quickly discovered, the
might Mopar used in the production made all the power needed to perform
when the director called "action." A kind of unique
car from that GREAT CAR MOVIE, this "dirty version" looks
to have some mud & dirt splashed on the sides. |

1965 Ford mustang GT350 The Ford Mustang
was introduced to meet the demand for a small, sporty car, which arose
towards the end of the 50s following the disappearance of the T-Bird
and the Corvette. The successfull vehicle was to appeal to a broad
clientel and therefore had to be affordable as well as visually attractive.
As a result, Ford built a car with a low body, longer bonnet and a
relatively short tail. Moreover, a speed-oriented concept was aimed
for, helping to make the Ford Mustang one of the most popular cars
of the 60s, both at home and abroad. |
